Miss Zheng Xiaoying
Zheng Xiaoying is an internationally renowned music conductor, and is also China's first female conductor. She served as chief conductor of the Central Opera House, and was the founder, chief conductor, and artistic director of Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1995, for celebration of the Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing, she successfully founded China's first female symphony orchestra. Miss Zheng Xiaoying has won numerous international awards for musical director, and her performance was acted throughout the world, and her reputation was enjoyed both home and abroad, thus made an outstanding contribution for the dissemination, communication and development of musical course in Chinese nation. Her life's achievements and contributions will be permanently recorded in the history annals of honor in Cambridge outstanding Who's Who in China.
